Préparez-vous à frissonner avec notre activité incontournable pour tous les amateurs de mystères et de légendes ! Marie-Hélène Bourret, guide et conteuse, vous racontera les histoires de fantômes qui hantent encore les recoins de Victoria. Cette visite commence au Victoria Visitor Centre et se terminera de manière inoubliable au Cimetière Old Burial Grounds, sur Quadra.

Que vous soyez passionné d’histoire, curieux des phénomènes surnaturels, ou simplement à la recherche d'une aventure originale, cette visite guidée est faite pour vous. Préparez-vous à explorer un côté de Victoria que peu ont l'occasion de découvrir.

Café Causerie in open air - Outing special

Celebrate National Seniors Day on October 1st!

For the occasion, we are offering a special activity: a Café Causerie in open air. On the program: a guided tour of the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific, followed by a delicious meal and a bird-watching outing with ornithologist Jacques Sirois at Swan Lake. 

Transportation: We offer transportation from the Société francophone de Victoria (SFV). You can also go directly to the site if it's more convenient for you.

Fee: Only $40, thanks to the generous support of Carrefour 50+.

Limited spots, please register before September 26. 

Day's program

  • 9:30 - 10:20 : Café Causerie at the VFS, offered coffee and tea
  • 10:25 : Departure to the Horticulture Centre of the Pacific (HCP)
  • 11:00 - 12:00 : Guided tour in French from the HCP
  • 12:15 - 13:30 : Meal
  • 1:35 : Departure to Swan Lake
  • 2:00 - 3:00 : Bird observations with Jacques Sirois
  • 3:30 : Return to the VFS

Cancellation Policy To participate, advance payment is required. In the case of cancellation, no reimbursement will be possible if it is within 48 hours before the event. If you are late or cannot come the day of, please inform us. It is your responsibility to contact the VFS to join the group.

Extraordinary General Assembly

The Victoria Francophone Society invites you to participate in our Extraordinary General Assembly that is taking place September 26, 2024 from 7:30 to 8:30 PM.  Before the EGA, a reception with a cash bar is expected from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. The agenda will include a presentation of financial statements to March 31, 2024, as well as the unveiling of the Society's new strategic plan for the period 2024-2029.  The assembly is exclusively open to active members of the Victoria Francophone Society. We count on your presence and active participation. Please reserve before September 25, 2024.
